The role of the Packaging shift relief operator is to run andmaintainfillers and other related equipment within theproductionfilling lines. Ensures that all products are produced with the highestquality possiblyand running efficiently. Additionally, cleans all equipment through CIP and SIP. Finally,followsall safety procedures asstatedin GMP, safety standards, plant rules, and code of ethics.

Key Responsibilities

As a key member of our team, you will play an important role in driving our mission forward. The following responsibilities outline the core expectations and contributions for this position:

You willbe responsible for:

Ensure all paperwork is filled out in a clear,legibleandaccurateformat and completed with all required information

• Effectively tear down, set-up, monitor, operate, changeover and clean applicable equipment and provide quality inspections on all related itemsto includebut not limited to OQI, weight checks, compliance with product specs, etc.

• Ensure clean and inspect standards are up to date and completedin a timely manner

• Ensure lubrication standards are up to date and completed ina timelyfashion;maintainlubrication logs

• Maintain working knowledge of all value stream equipment to include all support equipment, ability to troubleshoot, tighten, make minor adjustments and repairs using basic tools

• Completes PM's and other routine operator maintenance tasks;assistin diagnostics, repairs and rebuilds of machines; partner with maintenance or others on non-routine repairs and defect handling.

• Monitor equipment for malfunctions and defects, repairing and solving minor problems withoutassistanceandeliminatingpotential threats to production throughmaintainingequipment.

• Communicate effectively and partner with supervisors and maintenance personnelregardingrecurring problems and needs for repair

• Take part in PM's andutilizethe Root Cause thought process to ensure corrective actions are sustainable

• Maintain communication with other departments, management and employees andnotify themof any problems and/or concerns

• Utilizing continuous improvement mindset, activelyparticipateinidentifyingand correcting opportunities to improve processes including participation in the creation and documentation of Standard Operating Procedures and Work Instructions, the creation and maintenance of preventative maintenance standards, the writing of One Point Lessons, and participation in continuous improvementmethodologyevents

• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices and 5Smethodologytomaintaina clean,sanitaryand safe work area,maintainingaudit ready status at all times

• Actively participate in Pillar activities (i.e. Quality, Focused Improvement, Safety, etc.) including but not limited to observations, inspections, and recommendations.

• Works diligently to achieve line efficiency goals

• Assist, train, and coach employees

• Supports plant production needs and priorities to achieve plant goals

• Facilitate,attendandparticipatein team meetings and programs

• Comply withall policies and procedures

• All other duties as assigned or becomeevident

Work Environment

• Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to moderate noise and temperature variations.

• Work schedules could include nights, weekends and/or holidays to provide the ability to support a 24/7 manufacturing environment as business needs dictate.

About You:

Education andExperience:

• You will have aHighschool diploma or general education degree (GED)

• 1 - 3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Knowledge,Skillsand Abilities:

• Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods

• Knowledge of CIP/SIP

• Knowledge of SAP

• Knows all the safety rules, plant rules, GMP, and code of ethics and follows them strictly at all time

• Knowledge of risk of cross-contamination, basic chemical properties, and specific information of allergens in plant

Skills:

• Monitoring/Assessing performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action

• Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly

• Using logic and reasoning toidentifythe strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems

• Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the mostappropriate one

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

OSHA certification on powered industrial vehicles
