The Missouri University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDD) at the University of Missouri Kansas City - Institute for Human Development (UMKC-IHD) is a member of a national network of 64 university affiliated programs which receive federal funding to provide administrative support for activities including university education (pre-service education); community education and technical assistance to state agencies, parent education programs, and community service providers; research on disability issues and concerns; dissemination of information about people with disabilities and issues which affect them and their families; and the development of demonstration programs of new service delivery models. All activities have a legislated purpose of supporting the independence, productivity, and inclusion of people with developmental disabilities into the community. The Associate Director:
NOTE: This position is 100% grant funded and is contingent on continued funding. This position may involve travel. Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 5 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Preferred Qualifications

Anticipated Hiring Range
The anticipated hiring range for this position has been established as starting at $90,000 annually. Salary is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the individual's particular combination of education, skills, and experience, as well as organizational requirements. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck. The University of Missouri provides generous leave, health plans, and retirement contributions that add to your bottom line.
