Core Responsibilities
- Work with ED&A team to create a comprehensive communication plan for all ED&A stakeholders
- Coordinate critical business issue tracking across ED&A - collaborate with all ED&A leaders to document key issues and check on resolution status
- Maintain a repository of all key ED&A presentations
- Schedule and help conduct ED&A staffing meetings and assign owners and due dates for follow up items
- Communicate regularly, openly, and honestly with manager, team leads, team members and business partners using appropriate and effective methods
- Raise concerns appropriately to mitigate issues
- Partner with Enterprise Architecture and Google to assess applicability of new technologies/tools
- Assist with proof of concept for select AI use cases
- Perform other related tasks and assignments as required
Qualifications
Required Education/Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related focus and a minimum of one year experience which includes cumulative work experience or equivalent internship/co-op experience, or six months of Con Edison co-op or internship experience or
- Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related focus and a minimum of one year experience which includes cumulative work experience or equivalent internship/co-op experience, or six months of Con Edison co-op or internship experience
Preferred Education/Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related focus with data science and/or AI a plus and a minimum of one year experience which includes cumulative work experience or equivalent internship/co-op experience, or six months of Con Edison co-op or internship experience
Relevant Work Experience
- Exposure to design and coding across one or more platforms and languages as appropriate, required
- Exposure to methods relating to application design, software development, and automated testing, required
- Practical understanding of object-oriented design and coding with variety of languages, required
- Exposure to Azure and Google Cloud Platform Technologies, preferred
- Understanding of Waterfall, Agile or other rapid application development methods, preferred
- Capable of working independently or with a team, preferred
- Leadership, talent development and team-minded qualities, preferred
- Demonstrate the value in taking an iterative and agile approach, preferred
- Has a strong sense of ownership and is not afraid to speak up, preferred

- The selected candidate will be assigned a System Emergency Assignment (i.e., an emergency response role) and will be expected to work non-business hours during emergencies, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
