Maintenance Mechanic Lvl D-A - DP0021 - Belgravia (Swings)

Pay Range: $20.45/hr - $27.86/hr

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Includes but is not limited to:

• Provide maintenance support for the Belgravia facility by maintaining and repairing machinery in various areas including evisceration, packaging, and W&P.
• Indicate the major day to day problems you encounter and the solution to these problems
• What actions you take independently and what requires approval by higher authority
• Determine job requirement and provide for safety
• Help maintain quality and food safety to insure compliance with company quality standards and USDA requirements

Includes but is not limited to:

• Must have five years experience in poultry processing maintenance or related field
• Must be able to troubleshoot and make "on the spot" corrections to emergency situations
• Must be able to weld, arc, and heli-arc, and use cutting torch
• Must have good written and oral communication skills, in English.
• Must be self motivated and able to work with a minimum of supervision
• Must be able to lift 50LBS
• Must be able to work from ladder, safely
• A mechanical test will be administered and utilized to determine skill level
• Must be able to work rotating shifts and weekends as required
• Must be willing to cross train in processing maintenance area
• Must be able to stand for prolong periods of time (8-10HRS) on a concrete/metal grate floor
• Maintain management standards.
