The Opportunity

The Adobe Experience Cloud Partnerships team is dedicated to delivering material growth and market share expansion through strategic partnerships. Our team is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, negotiating, and implementing partnership deals and initiatives across Adobe's Experience Cloud portfolio.

As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will work with multi-functional teams and executive leadership. You will lead partner engagements aligned with Adobe's critical initiatives related to customer experience. You will be working with our largest and most strategic partners across the SI, Agency and Technology partner landscape.

The role requires a solid mix of skills and abilities, including relationship and project management, alliance building, contracts negotiation, and managing collaborators across multiple functions.

What you'll do

  • Identify and develop innovative partnerships that deliver value for customers, partners and Adobe across SI's, Agencies and Technology partners

  • Strengthen Adobe Experience Cloud's market presence via partners' GTM/channels, product development, and by discovering new channels to market

  • Structure and negotiate deals, including argument and deal modeling, to support robust and meaningful partnerships.

  • Ensure highly structured, methodical deal management rooted in achievements, critical metrics, and alignment with partners on opportunities of mutual interest

  • Collaborate with other teams (Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Partner Alliances) to achieve successful results for each partner

  • Cultivate and sustain a comprehensive grasp of Adobe's products to proficiently present and highlight our value proposition to potential partners.

  • Engage in strategy and roadmap discussions to guide long term partnership plans and evaluate trends in the customer experience category

  • Up to 30% travel

What you need to succeed

  • 15+ years of experience in roles such as business development or partnerships

  • A consistent record of building high-trust relationships and accomplishing high impact partnerships

  • Creativity to strategically problem solve, comfort with ambiguity, and initiative to incessantly seek opportunities that materially impact the business

  • A data-driven approach to developing partnership strategy with a passion for operational excellence

  • Strong leadership presence and outstanding communication skills for all levels, both verbal and written

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in relevant field

  • Experience working with sales, partnerships, and marketing organizations in customer-facing roles

  • Ability to work in fast-paced, demanding situations.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Domestic and international travel may be required.

Expected Pay Range:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $148,900 -- $271,500 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
In California, the pay range for this position is $187,500 - $271,500

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
