WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (Job Overview):

Reporting to the Sales Director, the Sales Representative V, Emergency Services Project Management, is responsible for onboarding and revenue activation from mid-sized and large Law Enforcement, Fire Department, and Emergency Medical Services accounts. This position is directly responsible for developing lasting relationships with Top Tier customers while identifying ongoing strategic revenue opportunities within each account.

WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE FOR GOOD (Key Responsibilities):

Sells Training Services products and services to existing Law Enforcement, Fire Department, and Emergency Medical Services customers.
* Builds relationships with new customers to bring them to activation.
* Identifies business and growth opportunities using an existing network of industry contacts to generate new revenues. Increase client and revenue base by contacting, qualifying, proposing and maximizing existing business with high value customers.
* Ensures productive and professional relationships with new customers.
* Develops trusted advisor relationships while operating as a key point of contact with Top Tier accounts, customer stakeholders and executive decision makers throughout the onboarding experience.
* Explores and builds partner relationships with OneRedCross partners to develop and/or enhance business alliances (i.e. Chapter staff, Blood Services).
* Responsible for attaining assigned sales volume and revenue objectives.
* Responsible for operating within prescribed budget.
* Territory size: annual revenue target greater than $1,300,000.

PAY INFORMATION:

The salary range for this position is $94,000. -126,000.

Note that American Red Cross salaries are aligned to the specific geographic location in which the work is primarily performed. Other factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role.

This job will be posted for a minimum of five business days and extended if the applicant pool needs to be expanded.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Minimum Qualifications):

Education: Bachelor's degree required.

Experience: Minimum 10 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.

Management Experience: N/A

Skills & Abilities: Ability to work on a team. Proven executive level sales' skills and ability to acquire and manage large accounts. Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Basic computer skills and demonstrated ability to utilize MS Office programs and Salesforce.com or similar client relationship management applications.

Travel: ability to travel 30%. Must have reliable transportation for regional travel.

*Combination of candidate's education and general experience satisfies requirements so long as the total years equate to description's minimum education and general experience years combined (Management experience cannot be substituted).

Physical Requirements

The duties are representative of the essential functions of the position. Physical requirements are those present in normal office environment conditions. Operational flexibility is required to meet sudden and unpredictable needs. Ability to use a personal computer and applicable software for sustained periods of time.

WHAT WILL GIVE YOU THE COMPETITIVE EDGE (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Successful experience in B2B sales and/or product marketing.
  • Experience in Training Services (TS) sales is preferred.
  • Knowledge of and experience applying effective field sales techniques.
  • Background in Fire/EMS, and/or possession of a valid EMTB or EMTP certification/license.
  • Experience with American Red Cross certification courses, including BLS, ALS, PALS, NALS, and First Aid/CPR/AED.
  • Extensive project management experience
