Because at the end of the day our goal is to help our partners businesses run better. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer with deep expertise in Azure and AWS cloud networking, SDWAN engineering, automation, and largescale enterprise WAN architectures. This is a handson engineering role focused on designing, optimizing, and securing complex hybrid cloud and onprem connectivity. In this role, we'll hope you bring strong technical depth, operational excellence, and the ability to thrive in highly distributed network environments. What You'll Be Doing: Cloud Networking (Azure & AWS)
Engineer and support core cloud networking capabilities including routing, segmentation, traffic flow design, and secure connectivity. Architect, implement, and maintain hybrid connectivity solutions such as:
Azure Virtual WAN (vWAN), Azure ExpressRoute, Azure Global Reach AWS Direct Connect, AWS SitetoSite VPN, AWS Transit Gateway Routing design, route propagation, route table segmentation
Implement and troubleshoot cloud peering technologies (Azure Peering, AWS VPC Peering). Engineer resilient multiregion and crosscloud architectures with predictable routing and high availability. Configure and optimize cloud traffic distribution services including:
Design and enforce cloudnative traffic and security controls:
Apply best practices for segmentation, encrypted transport, private access patterns, and traffic inspection.
SDWAN & Enterprise WAN Engineering
Deploy, optimize, and support enterprise SDWAN platforms with a focus on performance, reliability, and dynamic path selection. Tune QoS, traffic shaping, and applicationaware routing across branch sites and cloud edges. Engineer routing across MPLS, DIA, and private circuits using BGP/OSPF. Perform advanced troubleshooting and packetlevel analysis across WAN, SDWAN, and cloud environments. Collaborate with telecom carriers/ISPs to manage SLAs and resolve complex network issues.
Automation, Infrastructure as Code & Scripting
Integrate network automation into CI/CD pipelines to support standardized deployments, compliance validation, and drift detection. Build and manage network infrastructure using Terraform for cloud and SDWAN platforms. Develop automation tooling and workflows using:
Ansible (network automation, configuration management) JSON (Azure resource templates, AWS API/CLI outputs)
Support automated operational processes including provisioning, monitoring, testing, and configuration audits.
CrossTeam Collaboration & Technical Execution
Partner closely with cloud engineering, security, architecture, and application teams to deliver secure and scalable network solutions. Provide technical input during architecture planning and modernization initiatives. Produce clear documentation, diagrams, standards, and runbooks. Offer informal mentorship and knowledgesharing within the engineering team.
Troubleshooting & Incident Management
Serve as a key technical resource for break/fix operations across cloud, WAN, and SDWAN environments. Participate in incident management workflows including triage, rootcause analysis, impact assessment, and recovery planning. Troubleshoot complex issues involving routing, cloud connectivity, security controls, automation pipelines, and WAN/SDWAN paths. Respond to major outages, providing realtime troubleshooting and handson remediation. Participate in an oncall rotation supporting 24/7 critical incidents. Document incident findings and longterm remediation strategies. Collaborate with crossfunctional teams during highseverity events to restore services and ensure stability.
Vendor Technologies
Strong handson experience with Cisco IOS(-XE) / NXOS routers, switches, and security appliances in WAN and datacenter environments. Solid working knowledge of Fortinet technologies: FortiGate, FortiSwitch, FortiAP, FortiExtender (FEX), including HA, security policies, and VPN solutions. Understanding of IPAM, DHCP, and DNS (planning, allocations, scope management, DNS zone/record administration). Ability to interpret and correlate data across vendor platforms for troubleshooting, incident response, performance analysis, and proactive health assessments. Knowledge of lifecycle management, firmware upgrades, configuration standards, and changecontrol processes.
What Makes You a Great Fit:
Preferred Certifications
Nice to Have
Experience with Grafana for observability, dashboarding, telemetry visualization, and performance analysis. Proficiency with LiveAction or similar NPM/NPMD tools for flow analysis, packet visibility, SDWAN troubleshooting, QoS, and WAN diagnostics.
