The Associate System Administrator works within the Application Services Group to administer the Authority's Software Portfolio by conducting activities to support existing applications and software infrastructure as well as implement new applications and new software infrastructure. To support existing applications the Associate System Administrator effectively manages the resolution of production issues, adheres to all IT change management and incident reporting requirements, and verifies that applications are functioning properly after any change. Additional support activities include installing upgrades and patches and, when required, analyze, design, code, and implement changes to enhance functionality or to accommodate business process changes. This position focuses on supporting NYPA's Design and drafting application Suite: Autodesk Vault, Bentley ProjectWise, PTR Plus, Maximo etc. The Associate should have practical experience with programming and systems, as well as a strong motivation to continue learning. #LI-JP1 Responsibilities

Overnight travel to the various NYPA locations within New York State. The New York Power Authority is committed to providing fair, competitive, and market-informed compensation. The estimated salary range for this position is: $97,000 - $121,000. The salary offered will be determined based on the successful candidates' relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
