Description
Your Role: As a member of the Research and Development team, you will have the opportunity to play a key, hands on role in performing scientific experiments that lead to the next generation of CAR-T cell therapies. You will be responsible for human immune cell isolation and culture, tumor cell line culture and maintenance, carrying out advanced methods of T cell activity analysis, and using gene transfer techniques including lentiviral gene vector design and LNP-based gene delivery. These research and therapeutic T cell development pathways utilize new and innovative technologies developed in-house, such as flow cytometry, advanced imaging, and automated cell processing in static and active cultures. The incumbent will have the opportunity to interact with a highly diverse and collaborative team of scientists focused on research and development of novel cell and gene therapies, to contribute to scientific publications, development of clinic-ready and commercial cell therapy products, and to grow professionally. Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. This job is performed in a variety of facilities. Each person performing this job must have a home office environment, which is temperature controlled. This job requires the person to be mobile to visit clinical trial sites. Due to the travel requirements, this position may be exposed to natural elements of nature. Used research/clinical equipment may be handled in this job and strict SOPs must be followed and PPE may be required to be worn per Miltenyi or hospital policies. The hiring range for this position is expected to fall between $86,783 - $102,109/year, reflecting the range candidates can reasonably expect to be considered for at time of offer, based on factors such as experience, internal equity, and qualifications. The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of considerations, including but not limited to internal equity, experience, education, specialization, skills, abilities, and training. The above range represents the Company's good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting. In addition to your salary, the Company offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, vision, and dental insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan. All benefits are subject to eligibility requirements. Certain positions may also be eligible for additional compensation such as bonuses or commissions.
