Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Concord, NH. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

• Visibly and substantially support the client
• Safety Culture through proactive engagement and by making safety a part of every decision.
• Integrate safe design concepts in all products and projects.
• Develop and maintain knowledge and experience in recent CAD technologies and practices.
• Maintain technical drawing and bill of material library
• Design panels and systems that are easy to maintain and safe to operate from ergonomic standpoint.
• Assist in the design, specification, installation, and integration of chemical and gas manufacturing systems.
• Under the direction of the engineering design team, produce technical drawings and bills of material for detailed design packages for mechanical and electrical processes.
• Participate in Design Review, Process Hazard Analysis and EMOC meetings as needed.
• Support continuous improvement within the design group - e.g. development of standards, engineering tools, etc.

Required skills:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum 2 years of experience in project engineering or design related to industrial gas applications or machinery.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in AutoCAD and SolidWorks

• Knowledge of design tools including Solidworks, ACAD, for mechanical and electrical design
• Knowledge of simulation tools using Solidworks Simulation
• Ability to do basic engineering calculations and use tools
• A working knowledge of international codes/directives
• Strong organisational skills
