The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) has a potential need for a Senior Program Analyst for the Aviation Combat Element in Quantico, VA. This position requires senior level experience on a Marine Aircraft Wing staff with Naval Aviator, Naval Flight Officer, Marine Unmanned Aircraft Systems Officer, or Marine Air Command and Control Officer occupational specialty.

DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyze aviation operations, integration, and employment lessons from Marine Aircraft Wing operations
  • Identify ACE-specific trends, patterns, and emerging issues
  • Develop and document best practices for aviation combat element operations
  • Author and contribute to Warfighting Function Trend Reports
  • Produce Marine Corps Centers Lessons Learned formal reports and analytical products
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

  • Naval Aviator, Naval Flight Officer, Marine Unmanned Aircraft Systems Officer, or Marine Air Command and Control Officer occupational specialty
  • Senior level experience on a Marine Aircraft Wing staff

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Deep understanding of Marine aviation operations, tactics, and employment
  • Exceptional analytical skills and ability to produce high-quality written reports
  • Demonstrated ability to identify trends and synthesize complex operational data
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to identify trends and patterns across large datasets
  • Excellent writing and communication skills with ability to produce publication-quality reports
  • Experience conducting interviews and facilitating aviation after-action reviews
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, data analysis tools, and military logistics systems
  • Prior experience as a Senior Operations Analyst or in lessons learned operations desirable
  • Must be able to work onsite at Marine Corps Base Quantico facilities
  • May require extended hours during major exercises and training events
  • Occasional field visits to observe Aviation operations during training events may be required
  • Moderate travel required to support MAGTF exercises, formal Lessons Learned collections, and coordination with Marine Aviation Group units at various Marine Corps installations
  • Ability to communicate and interface with Military leaders and commanders at all levels
  • Ability to work independently and proactively, build rapport with end users, customers, and unit leaders in order to develop effective working relationships
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing working environments and operational tempos

REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must have an active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret preferred.
