Job description
Job Title: Licensing Specialist Pay: $23-24/hour Location: Wilmot Road, Deerfield IL Schedule: 4 days On-site Summary: Responsible for preparing and submitting entry level license renewal applications, for supporting the requirements to obtain licenses for new locations or supporting the licensing process for special projects. Responsible for obtaining all supporting documentation and signatures and ensuring compliance with jurisdiction requirements. Responsibilities may include working directly with licensing jurisdiction and business partners. Renewing various licenses - can also serve as backup to administrative team who handles physical mail, scanning licenses, supporting closing stores, etc. Responsibilities: Research, prepare, and submit entry level license renewals. Research applicable rules and regulations within each state, county and city taxing jurisdiction affecting the required license applications. As appropriate, responds and resolves basic issues and answers questions within understood policies and procedures. Represents the Department professionally and effectively when dealing with internal and external contacts. Updates data, systems, and resources. Keeps management and staff informed of changes. Organizes and maintains department databases and files on a variety of subjects. Participates in specific projects as requested. Complete pharmacy, DEA, business and other licenses to insure the licenses are filed timely, accurately and completely. Contacts Pharmacy Boards and other licensing agency personnel to address compliance issues or to clarify licensing requirements. Must Haves 0-1 year of Licensing Experience Excel Experience (specifically with VLOOKUPS) Attention to detail and examples of documentation with high levels of accuracy Task support may look like: Completing license renewal applications Supporting license maintenance activities such as inbox support, mail support Executing process enhancements to streamline and automate work Send out store closure notifications so the templates Key skills: Clear and strong verbal and written communications skills Highly organized to handle paperwork and electronic documents Open to change as we continue to enhance and automate processes Tools: MS based - outlook, word, excel, teams License Pro Dexian stands at the forefront of Talent + Technology solutions with a presence spanning more than 70 locations worldwide and a team exceeding 10,000 professionals.
