JOB TITLE: Adventure Park Activities Attendant

DIVISION: Recreational Services

REPORTS TO: Adventure Park Supervisor

LOCATION: Moonbeam Base Area

CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time/Part-Time/Seasonal/Hourly

DATES OF EMPLOYMENT: Early June through Mid-October

POSITION:

Provide exceptional experience for our guests utilizing our summer adventure park activities including Climbing Wall, Bungee Trampoline, Bounce House, and Sluice Mine Activity. Create a safe and fun environment. Participate on a team. Safely operate our adventure park activities. Pay starts at $18.65 per hour.

SPECIFIC JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be 18+ years of age
  • Must have a developed understanding of cooperative teamwork and communication with peers and supervisors
  • Understanding of how to deliver memorable mountain experiences to diverse groups of people and age ranges
  • Confidence in ability to instruct groups, enforce procedures, and manage unexpected circumstances
  • Ability to withstand exposure to elements such as extreme heat, cold, rain, hail, and environmental hazards
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs., with extended periods of standing, bending, and twisting
  • CPR, First Aid, and AED Certified preferred (or ability to obtain)


JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Available for assignments from 8:30 am-6:30 pm, including holidays and weekends
  • Must be able to monitor work schedule, arrive on time, and notify your supervisor of any anticipated time off or absence requests with as much advance notice as possible
  • Awareness of all current mountain conditions
  • Present yourself as a Mountain Resort ambassador by engaging the guests and providing resort-wide information
  • Maintain facilities and equipment, ensuring they are in safe working order
  • Assist with all opening and closing duties
  • Scan tickets for activity areas while greeting and orienting guests
  • Assist guests and explain basic activity procedures
  • Verify guest's weight and age to ensure proper equipment and provide appropriate personal protection equipment and apply designated wristbands when necessary
  • Follow standard activity protocols to mitigate risks
  • Belay guests on climbing wall and facilitate the bungee trampoline experience
  • Provide assistance to Summer Camp Counselors and indoor staff, as needed
