Position Summary The Numerical Analysis Engineering Internship position is located within the ATS Mechanical Engineering and Numerical Analysis group. This team performs engineering simulations on asset condition assessment and remaining life determination, product design and optimization, failure simulation and root cause support. The group supports a wide range of Company mechanical engineering needs from hydroelectric power plants, electric transmission and distribution networks, and gas pipelines. The Numerical Analysis Engineering Intern will support ongoing work in computer modeling and engineering simulation, and validation of engineering designs. Work may range from general technical consultation to comprehensive engineering analysis through engineering simulations and field investigations. This position is onsite, working from your assigned work location 5 days a week. The work location is San Ramon, CA. PG&E is providing the hourly rate range that the company in good faith believes it might pay for this position at the time of the job posting. This compensation range is specific to the locality of the job. The actual hourly rate paid to an individual will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, specific skills, education, licenses or certifications, experience, market value, geographic location, and internal equity.
