Job Summary

The Shipping and Receiving Associate is responsible for preparing, receiving, and organizing incoming and outgoing shipments. This role ensures materials and products are handled accurately, safely, and efficiently while maintaining inventory records

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, labeling, and staging product
• Maintain organized, clean, and safe shipping and receiving areas
• Labels material based on the following specifications: type, size, and count
• Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks (as applicable)
• Follow company procedures, safety regulations, and quality standards
• Communicate shipping issues or discrepancies to supervisors
• Follows instructions for stacking material properly and according to company policy and customer requirements

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED preferred but not required
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Working knowledge of basic math preferred
• Must be at least 18 years of age
