What You'll Do


Reporting to the Team Lead, Production, the Intermediate Production Test Technician is


responsible for building, imaging and testing production systems and troubleshooting at both system and equipment level.



  • Assembles computers and 42U cabinets. Produces double casts for our customers
  • Installs and configures software using internal images in accordance with work instructions and standards.
  • Performs set-up, calibration and test, of TRAX equipment - proficient on all equipment.
  • Troubleshoot equipment (Acquisition Units, Workstations and Servers).
  • Inspects systems prepared by others
  • Works in accordance with the objectives of the Supply Chain and Production department.
  • Ensures that the LeadsOnline products meet specifications and quality standards
  • Follows work instructions and use tools, test equipment and diagnostic procedures as directed.
  • Develops a good working knowledge of LeadsOnline products, test equipment and production documentation.
  • Reports work status, problems and any inconsistency in documentation to the Team Lead, Production.
  • Supports other team members as required.
  • May be required to support packing or[1] work with other departments on occasion.
  • Can operate a lift
  • Complies with safety and security requirements.
  • Maintains a clean and well-organized workplace.



Qualifications and experience



  • DEC Electro-technology or similar.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience.
  • Good analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Good knowledge of electromechanical products, test equipment and mechanical drawings.
  • Knowledge of computer hardware and peripherals.
  • Knowledge of Windows software for workstations and servers.
  • Understanding of basic electronics and control systems, which supports the ability to troubleshoot.
  • Good communication skills (English and/or French, verbal & written), able to understand both languages.



What We're Looking For


We're looking for a detail-oriented, hands-on technician with experience in production assembly, system imaging, and testing. You have a solid technical foundation, enjoy troubleshooting, and take pride in delivering high-quality products.



You bring:



  • A DEC in Electro-technology or equivalent, with 2-4 years of relevant experience
  • Experience assembling computer systems and cabinets, and installing/configuring software using standard images
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, Windows workstations and servers, and test equipment
  • An understanding of electromechanical systems and basic electronics, supporting effective troubleshooting
  • The ability to troubleshoot TRAX equipment and work confidently with multiple platforms
  • Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (English and/or French; able to understand both)
  • A team-focused mindset, flexibility to support other departments, and commitment to quality, safety, and organization
