Description
Brown and Caldwell (BC) has an exciting opportunity to join our growing Water Reuse Practice as a Regional Practice Leader (RPL). Help us expand and align our Direct Potable Reuse (DPR), Indirect Potable Reuse (IPR), and Non-Potable Reuse capabilities to meet increasing client needs across the West. As an employeeowner, you will help shape and advance the future of reuse in support of resilient water supplies. The Reuse RPL will work closely with the National Practice Leader (NPL) and Area Practice Leaders (APLs) to develop and drive regional strategy. In this role, you will also be responsible for developing talent, enhancing capabilities, supporting major pursuits, and aligning the practice to achieve BC's strategic goals. Remote work from within the United States is allowed. Detailed Description Develop, communicate, and execute Regional Reuse practice strategy Stay current on reuse-related market drivers-including regulations, funding programs, treatment technology, client trends, and industry innovation-and collaborate with Practice and Business Unit (BU) Leaders to develop a regional technical strategy and action plan aligned with BU and National Reuse Practice strategies. Work with APLs to ensure Area strategies align with regional and company-wide direction, supporting them as they develop and drive their Area plans. Incorporate insights from Client Service Teams (CSTs), technical sellers, and market intelligence to strengthen the regional strategy, inform the national vision, and participate in annual business planning for the region. Build capabilities to support growth and quality delivery Maintain strong awareness of the Reuse practice team within the region, including staff interested in advancing in reuse. Map pursuits and projects that align with regional growth objectives and create stepping-stone opportunities that build staff capabilities. Coordinate with growth leaders, Client Service Managers, and Project Managers to staff projects in ways that best serve our clients while also strengthening resumes and competencies for future key pursuits. Partner with APLs, NPLs, Area Directors, and Area Growth Leaders to focus hiring strategy and recruit talent aligned with practice growth needs. Support recruiting, mentoring, and intentional development of reuse technical staff. Collaborate as a practice and lead crossregional integration Work collaboratively with other Reuse RPLs and APLs to enhance synergy and consistency across the region. Mentor APLs and provide linkage between APLs and Subject Matter Experts, while strengthening cross-collaboration, technical community development, and shared learning among reuse staff to enhance productivity and quality. Drive external visibility and brand projection Partner with RPL peers, Reuse NPL, Growth Leaders, and CSTs to elevate BC's reuse brand through conferences, workshops, client positioning, and professional organizations. Highlight BC's people, innovations, research partnerships, and reuse solutions, and charter teams to effectively represent BC's technical leadership in DPR, IPR, and non-potable reuse markets. Drive business development aligned with client needs and strategic priorities Coordinate with Area operations and growth leaders and CSTs to identify reuse opportunities and drive practice growth in alignment with client needs. Recommend appropriate technical resources to engage clients and enhance awareness of BC's reuse solutions and participate in go/no-go decisions to ensure alignment with practice strategy and resource prioritization. Bring technical differentiation to pursuits and delivery Leverage knowledge of advanced treatment technologies (e.g., MBR, MF/UF, RO, UV, ozone, GAC/BAC, IX) and regulatory requirements to support strategic pursuits. Inform project organizational structures to build team qualifications that position BC for successful sales and delivery, and provide leadership in evaluating reuse treatment approaches, reviewing designs, and supporting technical excellence across the region. Salary Range: The anticipated starting pay range for this position is based on the employee's primary work location and may be more or less depending upon skills, experience, and education. These ranges may be modified in the future. Location A: $170,000 - $230,000 Location B: $180,000 - $240,000 Location C: $190,000 - $250,000 You can view which BC location applies to you here.
