GENERAL HELP

The General Help/Loader plays a critical role in the support of our Distribution team. The General Help/Loader will load and unload products, pick products for route drivers, count inventory, ensure efficiency and accuracy in product pulling, maintain cleanliness in the work area, and work collaboratively with the team.

In this role, you will:

* Efficiently load and unload product and bakery items, ensuring the safe handling of goods to prevent damage.

* Accurately select and prepare products for dispatch, aligning with route drivers' schedules to optimize delivery processes.

* Conduct thorough inventory counts, contributing to the accurate tracking and management of product inventory.

* Complete paperwork (load sheets, block sheets) with accuracy and neatness.

* Perform trailer checks, including sweeping and checking for damage, and submit information to the department manager.

* Inform supervisors in advance of the floor inventory of empty trays and other equipment.

* Uphold the highest standards of efficiency and precision in all tasks, particularly when allocating products for specific routes.

* Maintain a clean and orderly work area, adhering to safety and hygiene standards to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
