Service Desk Technician On-Site Position Overview A Service Desk Technician is needed to provide customerfocused technical support in a fastpaced environment. This role involves providing IT support to end-users, answering incoming calls, assisting field teams, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and supporting systemrelated tasks. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a calm, solutionsoriented mindset are essential. Key Responsibilities * Provide technical support to end-users in a fast-paced environment. * Troubleshoot software and hardware issues and provide service desk support. * Participate as a team member on assigned projects. * Perform user acceptance testing for new software releases. * Complete system configuration requests and ensure accuracy in all updates. * Monitor processing errors, perform initial troubleshooting, and escalate when necessary. * Support additional duties as assigned. Top Skills & Attributes * Strong problemsolving ability with a calm, steady approach in highpressure situations. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Detailoriented with strong multitasking abilities. * Technical aptitude, including comfort with basic hardware concepts and general computer use. * Customerfocused mindset with a positive, cando attitude. Required Experience * Previous service desk or IT support experience is a plus. * Ability to learn new tasks and adapt quickly. * Strong customer service orientation. Preferred Qualifications * Associate or bachelor's degree. * Interest in expanding technical skills and taking on new responsibilities. Work Environment * Fully onsite within a closeknit team. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Louisville, KY. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.75 - $18.75/hr.
