The Technology Liaison serves as a key connector between Business Technology, Quality stakeholders, and organizational leadership. This role is responsible for translating business needs into clear technology requirements and ensuring effective implementation of business processes across all systems that support the Quality Management System (QMS). The position oversees the integration and alignment of technology solutions throughout the GAC enterprise to enable efficient, compliant, and scalable quality operations.

Responsibilities

  • Communication

    • Partner with business leaders to understand strategic initiatives andidentifytechnology impacts.

    • Facilitate cross-functional communication on system changes, outages, or updates

  • System Support

    • Support data integrity, workflow configuration, and routine system audits.

    • Identifyopportunities for process improvement through technology

  • Project Coordination

    • Support planning, prioritization, and execution of technology projects.

    • Track progress, risks, and issues; ensure stakeholdersremaininformed and engaged.

  • AssetAlignment

    • Ensure technology solutions align with organizational goals, compliance standards, and operational workflows.

    • Translate business needs, pain points, and opportunities into clear technical requirements.

    • Familiarity with enterprise systems such as ERP, MES, QMS, or workflow automation platforms (customize as needed

    • Comfortable learning new tools and systems quickly.

    • Adjust well to shifting priorities and evolving technologies

Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, aviation sciences, quality systems or related field required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 4 years related technical experience of continually increasing responsibility. Comprehensive knowledge of Federal Aviation Regulations is required.. Position Purpose: In a team oriented environment, performs all tasks in area of responsibility in a timely and efficient manner to support Quality Management System Documentation and electronic systems development compliant with applicable regulatory requirements. Coordinates with functional organizations the documentation and implementation of specific business processes that support the Quality Management System. Coordinates and manages FAA approval of the Quality Management System.
Job Description
Principle Duties and Responsibilities: Essential Functions:
  1. Develops, implements and manages the Quality Management Systems documentation ensuring compliance to all applicable regulatory requirements and applicable industry Quality System standards.
  2. Manages a compliance matrix of regulatory requirements, and applicable industry standards to the Documented Quality Management System.
  3. Actively supports the development and implementation of new and updated electronic systems ensuring all Quality Management System requirements are incorporated into the systems design and business processes.
  4. Creates electronic system audit plans and audits system / business processes ensuring compliance to Quality Management System requirements, interprets and analyzes results.
  5. Audits Quality Management System documentation / business processes for pending and released regulatory changes, interprets and analyzes results for permanent solutions.
  6. Works closely with Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Materials and other business units as requested in support of internal operation procedural development.
  7. Evaluates submitted process changes for consistency to other released processes/procedures and overall Quality Management System requirements.
Additional Functions:
  1. Actively supports corporate initiative in resource sustainability and business continuity. .
  2. Promotes, encourages and supports continuous improvement culture. .
Perform other duties as assigned. Other Requirements:
  1. An Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license is not required. but may be used in combination with four (4) years of related quality experience (in addition to the experience requirements below) to offset the Bachelors degree.
  2. ASQ certification (CQE) and/or experience as a FAA recognized airworthiness designee highly preferred.
  3. A&P license preferred.
  4. Comprehensive knowledge of AS 9100 or ISO 9100 is preferred.
  5. Understands and is able to apply and communicate Quality System Requirements.
  6. Computer literate-capable of working within the various software applications utilized throughout the corporation.
This job requires one to be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
