Security Officer Access Management Coordinator

As a Security Officer Access Management Coordinator in Walton, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic retail location where you will help manage access control, monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a caring, agile team that values reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity in every interaction.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, badging activities, and other security-related policies at the location.
• Monitor entrances, exits, receiving areas, and/or restricted spaces to help manage authorized access for employees, vendors, contractors, and delivery personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details through appropriate site and Allied Universal communication channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the sales floor, stock areas, parking areas, and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Support loss prevention and other security-related operations by observing customer and employee activity, documenting concerns, and communicating with site contacts when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, which is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
