SUMMARY OF POSITION: The purpose of this position is to repair and maintain grounds and facilities as part of a team for the Brazos River Authority (BRA). This is accomplished by monitoring facilities for cleanliness; providing grounds maintenance; preserving quality road conditions; repairing and maintaining structures, buildings, and fences, and assisting with new construction projects on BRA property. Other responsibilities include landscaping; mowing; trimming trees; repairing and replacing pipes; providing general maintenance services as needed; and any other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:



  • Minimum one year experience or equivalent combination of education
  • Valid Texas Call C Driver's license and Good Driving Record
  • Preferred: Class B Driver's License
  • High School Diploma - Awarded for the completion of High School.


STARTING SALARY RANGE: $19.31 to $24.62 hourly. This is a non-exempt position.

BRAZOS RIVER AUTHORITY, EOE: The BRA was created by the Texas Legislature in 1929 and exists to develop, manage, and protect the water resources of the Brazos River Basin. Today, BRA's staff develops and distributes water supplies, provides water and wastewater treatment, monitors water quality, and pursues water conservation through public education programs.
