Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Houma, LA. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • The Sales Manager is a key leader within the commercial sales organization, responsible for driving profitable growth, market expansion, and customer retention across a defined geographic area or region.
  • This role leads, coaches, and develops the Territory Executive (TE) team while maintaining strategic relationships with priority customers and projects.
  • The Sales Manager partners closely with Operations, Marketing, and Executive Leadership to align sales strategy with service execution and customer expectations.
  • The customer base includes, but is not limited to, municipalities, parishes, industrial, general contractors, home builders, events, independent businesses, and other commercial segments to support comprehensive waste and recycling solutions.
  • The Sales Manager owns overall territory performance, including new business growth, retention, pricing discipline, and sales execution.
  • Actively manage and grow a personal portfolio of strategic accounts and high-value opportunities
  • Lead, coach, and support Territory Executives through joint sales calls, deal strategy, and ongoing development.
  • Drive territory-level revenue growth, retention, and market share expansion through hands-on selling and team execution.
  • Conduct effective sales presentations to represent the client value, services, and solutions for both individual and team-led opportunities.
  • Analyze market conditions, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify expansion opportunities.
  • Set expectations and monitor KPIs for Territory Executives while consistently meeting or exceeding individual sales targets.
  • Maintain strong CRM discipline, including opportunity management, forecasting, proposals, and reporting.
  • Oversee and support pipeline development across the territory, ensuring healthy deal flow and accurate forecasting.
  • Partner with Operations to ensure successful onboarding, service execution, and resolution of customer concerns
  • Model client operating procedures, professionalism, and a customer-first mindset
  • Foster a collaborative, accountable team culture while remaining flexible and responsive to business needs.
  • Support additional initiatives and responsibilities as needed to drive overall business success.

  • Pay rate: $65,000-$85,000/Year

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in business development and account management within a route-based or service-driven environment
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, Navusoft, or similar)
  • Demonstrated ability to balance individual sales production with team leadership responsibilities
  • Strong customer retention, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
  • Solid understanding of operational coordination and service delivery in a field-based business
  • Excellent communication skills across verbal, written, and presentation settings
