ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES





Duties include, but are not limited to:





  • Verify and ensure parts, materials, tooling and components installed on aircraft meet current regulations and requirements. Verification of these requirements will ensure Continuous Airworthiness Standards are met and maintained within the Maintenance Program. Enter, update and maintain Part data which includes correct part description, proper ATA code, part type, specific tail number effectivity, positions on aircraft, hard time limits, assembly build up, shelf life and tool life requirements, hazardous material tracking, minimum stocking specs and interchangeability.
  • Provide Guidance with the new Configuration Software Maintenix
  • Provide leadership for the Aircraft Records Technicians and overall management of the aircraft records department.
  • Communication with all levels of management including a secondary reporting relationship with Engineering.





QUALIFICATIONS





  • Typing (min. 40wpm)
  • Computer skills (Excel, Word, Windows)
  • Organizational Skills
  • Must be able to pass a 10-year Background/Criminal check and pre-employment drug screen

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.






EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE





  • High school Diploma or GED
  • Three years management experience required




PHYSICAL ACTIVITY





  • Stand - 10%
  • Walk - 10%
  • Sit - 80%
  • Lift up to 20 lbs




MENTAL CAPABILITY REQUIREMENTS





  • Requires ability to handle numerous activities at one time and meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Must be organized, extremely attentive to detail and highly safety conscious
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and as a member of a team
