Description
The Shipping & Receiving Clerk II will receive, check, store, issue and ship inbound/outbound materials from the warehouse. Assists in directing work of Shipping & Receiving Clerk I's. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS AND/OR EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and minimum 3+ years shipping & receiving experience in a manufacturing setting. If required, obtain and maintain a valid fork lift driver certificate. If driving a company vehicle, must obtain and maintain a valid US Driver's License. BASIC SKILLS: * Able to accurately complete standard forms and spreadsheets compliant to quality procedures. * Able to clearly communicate with co-workers and supervisors. * Able to comprehend written and verbal instructions, short correspondence, and memos. * Able to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. * Able to distinguish between the colors of red, orange, yellow, blue, green and violet. * Able to perform basic math functions. * Able to read at a 20/20 visual acuity using a Jaeger eye chart (near vision) with or without vision correction. Able to read No. 1 at 14" distance, or No. 2 at 20" distance, or No. 3 at 24" distance. * Able to work in a multi-tasking environment * High degree of manual dexterity and hand-to-eye coordination. * Self-motivated and able to work independently with limited supervision Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities
