POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS):

Alutiiq, LLC a subsidiary of Afognak Native Corporation has an opportunity for a Sr. Director of IT Managment & Infrastructure. This position is remote, with a designated home base at our corporate office in Anchorage, Alaska..


The IT leader will drive strategic vision, implementation, and oversight of all technology systems and infrastructure. This role ensures that technology supports and advances the company's operational goals, growth initiatives, and customer/employee experiences, while maintaining the highest standards of data security and system performance. The leader will oversee the implementation of Enterprise RP systems, infrastructure/licensing solutions, and compliance with all industry best practices.



  • Oversee the planning, execution, and successful placement of all new technology systems, including Point of Sale (POS), back-office, digital ordering, and other Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) technologies while ensuring integration and minimal disruption to operations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with technology vendors, service providers, and strategic partners. Negotiate contracts, manage performance, and ensure vendor delivers solutions that align with the business needs and budget.
  • Collaborate with cross functional leaders to align technology initiatives with business objectives.
  • Develop and execute IT roadmap that supports company growth, operational efficiency, and innovation.
  • Identify emerging technologies and trends relevant to QSR and commercial retail industries.
  • Evaluate and initiate solutions that enhance the customer/employee experience, drive operational excellence, and create a competitive advantage in both commercial and government contracting industries.
  • Provide leadership and oversight for the performance of security and maintenance of all IT systems to ensure high system availability and data integrity
  • Oversee the development and implementation of data policies and procedures. Ensure secure, compliant, and effective data collection, storage, analysis, and reporting to support informed decision-making within the organization.
  • Implement and oversee cybersecurity, manage network systems, and ensure compliance with industry requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Payrate: $192,762 to $245,770 Annually

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Required Education:



  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science or equivalent work experience.


Required Experience:



  • 20 + years of experience in IT, including 8+ in senior infrastructure leadership.
  • Leadership within organizations in the ~500M-$1B revenue range.
  • Merger and acquisition integration experience with multiple entities.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale system implementation and managing vendor partnerships.


Other Required Qualifications or Skills:



  • Background with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Warehouse Management System (WMS), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and distributions/logistics environments
  • Excellent strategic thinking, problem solving, communication skills and financial acumen.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing IT teams
  • Dynamic and engaged leaders have a passion for empowering, inspiring, motivating and developing team members.
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills with the ability to effectively balance priorities and deliver results in a fast paced, ever-changing, and highly entrepreneurial environment
