Job Summary
The Assistant Manager is responsible for working with sales associates to maximize sales production and utilization of the All Under One Roof/Power of Yellow Customer Experience. The Assistant Manager is expected to partner with and leverage the Marketing Technology Specialist that has been assigned to support their office. The Assistant Manager is also expected to utilize the Regional Processing Manager to ensure timely and accurate unit reporting and transaction management.
Supervision Exercised
The Assistant Manager provides direct supervision over the Processing Manager assigned to their office. The Assistant Manager is also responsible for the regular and active engagement and coaching of the sales associates licensed to work in their office.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Serves as the residential sales coach for the office.
- Ensures that the Weichert Selling System and Sales Tools are aggressively and consistently used by all sales associates in the Office to prospect customers to achieve MTD and YTD sales, listing and rental unit and CO$ target.
- Engages and coaches all sales associates to help them achieve their personal production goals and the Office revenue unit and closed unit production targets.
- Manages day-to-day Office operations and metrics, including but not limited to: open houses, listing presentations, buyer consultations, farming activities and core calls.
- Promotes and manages the utilization of the All Under One Roof/Power of Yellow Customer Experience by managing all sales associate adoption and support of Weichert mortgage, title and insurance services. Requires the use of the Huddle Report as a vehicle to optimize sales associate market share adoption.
- Hosts weekly Office meetings when needed and organizes the weekly Office open house program.
- Assigns Opportunity Time to all Sales Associates. Monitors the attendance and quality of performance of each Sales Associate to whom opportunity time has been assigned.
- Fosters and nurtures a strong sense of the Weichert Community across the Office that results in strong sales associate and colleague brand adoption, advocacy and retention.
- Responsible for the condition and maintenance of the Office exterior, interior and grounds. Hold routine inspections of the Office to ensure neatness and cleanliness.
- Leverages the Regional Processing Manager to ensure timely and accurate unit reporting, and important all sales associate networking and community activities.
- Ensures the proper application and conformity with all Company policies and procedures.
- Organizes Office participation in local community events and trade organizations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Education, Certification, and License Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
- State real estate license and state real estate broker's license required, subject to market requirements.
- Valid driver's license
Experience
- Minimum Three (3) or more years of related residential real estate sales experience required
- Sales management or prior leadership training required
- Recruiting and contract negotiation experience strongly preferred
