FSB is seeking a PElicensed Electrical Engineering Manager to lead electrical design, production, and project delivery for a diverse portfolio of architecture and engineering projects. In this leadership role, you'll guide a growing team of electrical engineers and designers while shaping the technical quality behind building electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, lowvoltage systems, and other critical buildingscale electrical systems. You'll play a key role in creating coordinated, highperformance solutions that support the success of aviation, commercial, federal, civic, tribal, missioncritical, and highperformance facility projects.

Leadership & Team Management

  • Mentor and develop electrical engineers and designers, establishing expectations that support technical excellence and accountability.
  • Manage team assignments, workload planning, and production timelines to keep projects on schedule.
  • Oversee staffing efforts including recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding to build a strong, balanced team.
  • Monitor team utilization, identify performance gaps, and implement proactive solutions.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, communication, and continuous improvement while reinforcing QA/QC standards and the professional standard of care.

Technical Leadership & Design Oversight

  • Provide technical direction on electrical power distribution, lighting systems, fire alarm, grounding, low-voltage systems, medium-voltage distribution, electrical safety, load calculations, short circuit studies, arc flash analysis, and protective device coordination.
  • Oversee development of Revitbased electrical drawings, oneline diagrams, panel schedules, specifications, and engineering calculations.
  • Support electrical design teams through documentation, QA/QC, code compliance, and construction administration.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for NEC, NFPA 70, IEEE standards, and multidisciplinary coordination.
  • Implement and improve disciplinespecific tools, templates, and workflows to enhance quality and efficiency.

Professional & Interpersonal Skills

  • Lead technical discussions and present solutions to clients, consultants, and authorities having jurisdiction.
  • Partner closely with Project Managers and multidisciplinary teams to align project scope, design intent, and budgets.
  • Maintain strong organizational and timemanagement skills across multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Apply advanced knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and engineering software including Revit, SKM, ETAP, and EasyPower.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • 7+ years of electrical engineering experience with leadership responsibilities.
