Position Overview
| Primary Purpose of Position |
The primary purpose for the Video Coordinator/Creative Media Specialist for Football is to manage, categorize and build a comprehensive video library of practice and game videos from
NFL through Division 1 college football to create teaching and presentation videos for the development of our student athletes and the football coaching staff. In addition, produce weekly highlights, create human interest video content, recruiting video content, video/graphics content for social media platforms, video tape & edit football game day events and practices as directed by coaches. The Video Coordinator/Creative Media Specialist will assist in producing creative video, graphics, photos, and other creative content for our various social media platforms in a timely manner, while meeting the overall strategy, philosophy and marketing/ social media goals of the department. This position is the primary liaison in direct communications with the
CAA in video/ video recording issues. |

Leads the planning, coordination, and execution of all football video operations, including practice and game filming, editing, and distribution. Collaborates directly with coaching staff to assess video production needs, establish priorities, and design strategic filming plans, including camera placement, shot selection, and workflow optimization.
Oversees the integration and synchronization of multiple data and video systems, including DV Sport 360 and Pro Football Focus (
PFF), ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and usability for coaching analysis. Troubleshoots and resolves complex technical issues related to audiovisual equipment, software, and game-day technologies, including sideline tablet systems for both home and visiting teams in compliance with conference (
CAA) requirements.
Designs and produces advanced video content, including game breakdowns, scouting tools, and creative highlight packages for internal team use and external platforms. Applies creative and technical expertise to enhance visual storytelling and support program objectives. Serves as the primary liaison between the football program and IT to implement and maintain evolving technology solutions. |
