Onsite - Buffalo, NY Moog's Commercial Aircraft business supports the full aircraft lifecycle-from design, development, testing, and certification to inservice support. Our capabilities include OEM design, aftermarket services, engine accessory repairs, aircraft control components, and advanced avionics and digital airfield solutions. Reporting to the Global Customer Service Center Manager, our team in Commercial Aircraft Group is looking for a Global Receiving Manager to join them for an on-site, work schedule in East Aurora, New York. The Global Receiving Manager oversees a global team responsible for the administration of commercial aircraft repair activities. This role ensures accurate execution of contractual obligations, timely processing of repair orders, and high-quality customer interactions.   • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Senior Repair Administrators and support staff.
  • Set performance expectations, monitor productivity, and conduct regular performance reviews.
  • Foster a collaborative, customer-focused, and accountable team environment.
  • Identify training needs and support professional development initiatives.
Repair Administration Oversight
  • Oversee the initiation and processing of repair and overhaul job orders.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of all repair-related documentation (quotes, orders, certifications, and transmittals).
  • Maintain oversight of pricing, terms and conditions, and contractual compliance.
  • Ensure all records, files, and logs are organized, updated, and audit-ready.
Customer & Contract Management
  • Act as escalation point for customer issues and ensure timely resolution.
  • Ensure team delivers professional, consistent, and credible customer communication.
  • Oversee the review and acknowledgement of purchase orders to confirm alignment with company proposals.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies between customer orders and company terms.
Operational Execution & Performance
  • Monitor and ensure adherence to delivery schedules and quoted turnaround times.
  • Drive prioritization and execution of AOG (Aircraft on Ground) requirements.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) including turnaround time, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction.
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service levels.
Compliance & Documentation
  • Ensure compliance with government, regulatory, and customer-specific requirements.
  • Oversee preparation of export documentation and special certifications for international shipments.
  • Maintain adherence to internal policies, procedures, and quality standards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with operations, engineering, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure seamless execution of repair activities.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across the repair and contract administration functions.
  • Participate in strategic planning and operational reviews.
To be considered for a Global Receiving Manager, here's what you'll typically need to bring with you.....
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience) with minimum of 5 years of experience in customer service, contract administration, or repair operations or Associate's degree with 7-10 years of experience.
  • At least 2-3 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Strong understanding of contract management, order processing, and customer service principles.
  • Experience in aerospace, aviation, or manufacturing environments preferred.
  • Familiarity with repair/overhaul processes and AOG operations preferred.
  • Knowledge of export compliance and government documentation requirements preferred.

Salary Range Transparency:

Buffalo, NY $85,000.00-$112,000.00 Annually

Salary Range Disclaimer

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, and many region-specific benefits.
