DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a Human Resource Assistant 2, you will support the Labor Relations Program by creating, maintaining and updating labor relations databases and maintaining case-related and administrative files. This includes logging, tracking, and updating status of grievances. You can expect to administer the Department's Limited Duty/Modified Duty program and make case recommendations based on evaluation of medical documents. Other duties include monitoring Service Now for incoming supplementary employment cases and receiving, reviewing and performing an evaluation of all Probationary Trooper documentation for appropriate content. This position ensures timely receipt of necessary documents from Troop Commanders, coordinates panels to review probationary Trooper evaluations, and prepares associated correspondence and files. - Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a Human Resource Assistant 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- One year of clerical or other comparable experience and one year of beginning level paraprofessional human resource or equal opportunity work; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
