Job Overview: The Senior Finance Analyst is a key strategic partner to the Retail business and commercial leadership team, providing advanced financial analysis, insight, and decision support to drive profitability and long-term growth. This role goes beyond reporting to proactively influence business strategy, pricing decisions, customer profitability, and investment prioritization. The Senior Financial Analyst independently leads complex analyses, develops financial models, and translate data into actional recommendations for senior and executive leadership. This position requires strong business acumen, the ability to operate in ambiguity, and confidence partnering with cross-functional leaders to execute profit-improvement and growth initiatives.



Key Responsibilities:



  • Serve as a trusted finance business partner to Retail sales and leadership teams, delivering insights that influence pricing, margin optimization, and strategic decision-making
  • Lead advanced financial analysis and modeling, including contribution margin, customer profitability, product mix, and scenario/sensitivity analysis
  • Own and enhance internal management reporting and KPI dashboards to monitor performance and identify risks and opportunities
  • Prepare and present monthly and quarterly financial review materials for executive leadership, highlighting key trends, drivers, and recommendations
  • Proactively identify and evaluate strategic opportunities, including new business, pricing strategies, and profit improvement initiatives
  • Partner cross-functionally (Sales, Operations, Supply Chain, and Leadership) to support execution of financial and operational initiatives
  • Support capital investment analysis and post-investment performance tracking
  • Independently manage ad hoc analytical projects with minimal oversight, providing clear, data-driven conclusions
  • Act as a mentor or informal resource to junior analysts, helping elevate analytical rigor and best practices across the team




Skills / Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or equivalent field (MBA a plus)
  • 5-8 years of progressive financial analysis experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Advanced financial modeling and financial statement analysis skills
  • Expert-level proficiency in Excel; experience with large, complex datasets and financial systems
  • Strong understanding of corporate finance concepts, including pricing, margins, and profitability analysis
  • Proven ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and operate effectively in ambiguous situations
  • Strong business partnering skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly
  • Highly analytical, proactive, and solutions-oriented mindset
  • Technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn new systems, tools, and processes
  • Travel requirements up to 10%
