Description

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

* Field phone calls regarding aggregate deliveries in the Portland Metro market

* Monitor and coordinate jobsite delivery and truck activity through computer terminal

* Schedule and fulfill aggregate deliveries out of 14 locations

* Acquire additional trucking from 3rd party customers to fulfill delivery responsibilities when needed

* Work closely with our Trucking Coordinator to ensure internal trucking capabilities and availability

* Track trucking round times to minimize haul costs and maximize profitability

* Assure all safety policies and procedures are followed

* Review 3rd party trucking timecards for timely payment to vendors

* Communicate with and assist Scale operators with ongoing orders

* Additional duties as assigned by manager

Minimum qualifications:

* Excellent written and oral communication skills

* Knowledge of the construction industry in the Portland Metro market

* Experience using computer applications (APEX, Excel, Smartsheets, etc)

* Ability to work in high stress environments and with multiple personality types

* Ability to time manage and execute multiple tasks at a time

* Advanced problem-solving skills
