Description

Responsibilities included, but are not limited to the following:



  • Must have a positive attitude and be able to work safely
  • Dry Batch concrete via computer batch plant control systems
  • Willing to back up Plant Operator position as needed.
  • Safely perform all the duties and actively participate in safety programs
  • Maintain raw material inventories
  • Able to operate loader, skid steer, telehandler, manlift in a safe and efficient manner
  • Ability to manage, train, and coach a team of 10 batch plant operators throughout the Willamette Division


Minimum Qualifications:



  • Previous ready mix batch plant experience required.
  • Must have good organizational, communication, and writing skills
  • Basic computer and math skills and willingness to embrace new technology
  • Must be able to multitask and maintain efficient workflow in area of responsibility
  • Must be able to handle challenging and difficult situations
  • Basic knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems is a plus
  • Must be reliable and dependable and work well with other team members
  • Must be able to understand and implement KPI's with strong focus on efficiency and utilization.
