Description Position at Total Mechanical Service Commercial HVAC/R & Cooking Equipment Technician Pay: $20-$45+ per hour based on experience Total Mechanical Service is hiring experienced technicians to troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial cooking, refrigeration, and HVAC equipment at customer locations. Technicians perform preventative maintenance and emergency service on equipment, including ovens, fryers, steamers, dish machines, walk-ins, coolers, freezers, and ice machines. Responsibilities Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial cooking, refrigeration, and HVAC equipment Complete preventative maintenance inspections and emergency service calls Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, managers, and sales teams Complete service paperwork and order parts as needed Maintain company vehicle and tools Participate in on-call rotation Attend technical training sessions Identify opportunities within existing customer accounts Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Previous commercial cooking, refrigeration, or HVAC service experience (military experience considered) Strong electrical, mechanical, and troubleshooting skills Professional communication and customer service skills Dependable, organized, and punctual Completion of a successful background check and drug screen Must be at least 18 years old Driving record must align with our safety standards Preferred Qualifications Experience servicing fryers, ovens, steamers, ware wash, walk-ins, ice machines, prep tables, coolers, and freezers EPA Universal Certification CFESA certification or related training Basic computer skills Benefits Competitive hourly pay plus overtime Company vehicle Company phone/tablet Medical, dental, and life insurance PTO 401(k) with company match Paid technical training Company uniforms Town Shares program, share in the long-term success of the company Stable customer base and year-round work About Total Mechanical Service Total Mechanical Service has provided commercial cooking, refrigeration, HVAC, ware-washing, beverage, and ice machine service since 2006.
