Get to Know Your Team:

  • Lovelace Westside Hospital provides care to Albuquerque's Westside and Rio Rancho, including a 24-hour emergency department and a wide range of inpatient and outpatient surgical capabilities such as Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT), bariatric, and orthopedic service lines.

Responsibilities

Manages, supervises and coordinates the daily operations and activities for assigned area to include but not limited to meeting financial objectives, training personnel, assigning work activities, identifying and resolving problems. Adheres to policies, procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.


Qualifications

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field of study. Education may be substituted for relevant experience.
  • Experience with support staff supervision.
  • Background and knowledge of building systems operations, including HVAC, electrical, emergency generators, voice, and data.
  • Knowledge of city, state, and federal codes and regulations governing their property.
  • Comprehensive project management skills.
  • Ability to negotiate and obtain cooperation from personnel inside and outside Lovelace Health Plan to sustain a climate of teamwork.
  • Software proficiency, including but not limited to MS Word, Excel, and MS Project.
  • Working knowledge of US Mail and express mail PC-based shipping systems.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Decision-making skills.
  • Three (3) years of related experience, of which one (1) year must have been in a supervisory capacity.

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • Boiler Operator license and/or at least one other contractor's or journeyman license.
