Job Highlights
Conduct chemical, physical, and instrumental analysis of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished goods using techniques such as HPLC, pH measurement, viscosity testing, particle size analysis, and microscopy. Record and analyze test results to ensure compliance with product specifications and regulatory standards. Ensure adherence to internal quality systems, SOPs, ISO standards, and regulatory guidelines. Investigate out-of-specification results, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions. Revise batch sheets and participate in process validation and continuous improvement activities. Calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments such as HPLC systems, pH meters, and particle size analyzers. Perform preventive maintenance and ensure all equipment operates within required specifications to maintain test accuracy and lab compliance. Prepare and ship analytical and customer samples in compliance with DOT and IATA regulations. Maintain accurate inventory of raw materials, chemicals, and consumables. Ensure timely and traceable sample handling and documentation. Uphold lab safety protocols including chemical handling, hazardous waste disposal, and housekeeping. Participate in safety initiatives and maintain a safe working environment. Train new chemists and support staff on lab procedures and equipment operation. Experience / Skills
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field 1-3 years of experience in a laboratory or quality control environment, preferably in the chemical, pharmaceutical, or manufacturing industry Proficient in operating, calibrating, and troubleshooting analytical instruments including HPLC, pH meters, and particle size analyzers to ensure accurate and reliable test results. Skilled in adhering to SOPs, ISO standards, and regulatory guidelines. Experienced in investigating deviations, implementing corrective actions, and maintaining meticulous documentation. Knowledgeable in laboratory safety protocols, proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials, and maintaining a safe work environment.
