Senior Project Engineer - Subsea Fiber Optic Systems Location: Newington, NH Compensation: Up to $170K Position Type: Direct Hire Advantage Technical is placing a Project Engineer with a global leader in undersea fiber optic communications infrastructure - an organization whose technology powers the backbone of the internet across continents. What You'll Do Develop technical solutions for new subsea telecom cable systems using in-house design tools based on customer requirements Coordinate cross-functional teams (R&D, Manufacturing, Marine, Sales, PM) on technical proposals and bid strategy Define project scope for R&D engineers; support sales through contract negotiations and customer technical discussions Partner with PLM to define product features for system bids Assist in developing and testing software tools, templates, and calculators What You Bring BS in Electrical Engineering or related field (MS preferred) Background in fiber optics and telecommunications Familiarity with coherent optical transmission, DWDM, EDFA/Raman amplification, ROADM preferred Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to manage multiple concurrent projects Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed Since this is a direct hire position, benefits will be discussed at time of offer/hire.
