Position Summary and Responsibilities:


The purpose of the Warehouse Supervisor (Night) is to direct and manage the selection and loading of all BEK products to ensure the operational efficiency of the Division.



  • Manage and coordinate the daily workload of assigned warehouse personnel to ensure productivity levels are met and maintained.
  • Monitor dock and forklift operations to ensure consistent operational efficiency of the warehouse.
  • Complete appropriate management tasks to maintain a productive and safe warehouse environment.
  • Perform additional duties as needed.
  • Supervise duties for night warehouse personnel.
  • Conduct performance appraisals as directed.
  • Provide feedback and assistance to direct reports.


Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:



  • At least 2 years of warehouse experience required
  • Food service and/or manufacturing experience preferred
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety guidelines helpful
  • Ability to read and interpret rules/guidelines, operating and maintenance instructions
  • Good computer skills; ability to learn internal applications
  • Ability to learn and use relevant internal applications
  • Able to work in extreme temperatures (cold and hot)
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to lead others
  • Self-starter with ability to multi-task
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment
  • Customer-focused
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (G.E.D.) required


Physical Requirements:



  • Must be able to work in all temperature zones (including Freezer)
  • Must be able to work overnights.
  • Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time.
  • Ability to work through a +10-12 hour shift.
  • Must be able to learn the use of electronic technology.
  • Must have normal use of shoulders, arms, wrist, hands, feet and legs.
  • Ability to repetitively lift / stack.
  • Must be able to lift 30-60 lbs repetitively and heavier items weighing up to 100 lbs occasionally.
  • Must be able to bend at the waist; stoop to reach and squat to lift heavy items in a proper manner and operate lift assisting devices.
  • Ability to operate heavy warehouse equipment, such as electric pallet jacks and forklifts.
  • The ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds
  • Must be able to read numbers and product descriptions.
