Job Summary

The Assembler is responsible for performing a range of production assembly operations on electronic and mechanical components, including modules, boards, panels, frames, and cables. This role involves working from technical drawings and diagrams to assemble, inspect, test, and rework components in a manufacturing environment. The position requires attention to detail, strong soldering skills, and the ability to ensure product quality while adhering to established procedures and specifications.

Job Responsibilities



  • Perform assembly operations on electronic and mechanical components and subassemblies.
  • Interpret and work from diagrams, drawings, and technical instructions to complete assembly tasks.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, jigs, and equipment to assemble products.
  • Conduct continuity checks on in-process and completed assemblies.
  • Perform quality inspections in accordance with established specifications and standards.
  • Disassemble, modify, rework, and reassemble assemblies as required.
  • Test experimental or prototype assemblies under simulated conditions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and test results.
  • Follow all safety procedures and manufacturing guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure workflow efficiency.


Job Requirements



  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • IPC J-STD-001 certification required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in hand soldering or electronic assembly.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality standards.
  • Ability to use hand tools and basic assembly equipment.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to follow instructions.


Education



  • High school diploma or equivalent required.


Work Experience



  • 1-3 years of experience in electronic assembly or manufacturing required.
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing and soldering preferred
