Overview

The Systems Integration Specialist is a hands-on technical role responsible for the operational stability, configuration, planning and support of enterprise point solutions that integrate with core ERP and business systems. This position requires broad, well-rounded technical skills across application support, operating systems, infrastructure services (including Azure cloud), integrations, and troubleshooting.

The primary focus of the role is day-to-day administration and support of the Hyland OnBase platform. In addition, the specialist participates in a shared enterprise application support model, providing cross-coverage for other ERP-adjacent systems, document management solutions, managed file transfer, integration tools, and automation platforms.

The role includes participation in robotic process automation (RPA), workflow automation, and AI-enabled processes. Automation is an important capability within the role. Success in this position depends on strong foundational IT knowledge, analytical troubleshooting skills, and the ability to operate effectively across application, infrastructure, and integration layers.

This is an individual contributor role, with no direct people management responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Enterprise Application & Point Solution Support

    Provide hands-on technical configuration, administration, and production support for Hyland OnBase document management solution as the primary platform responsibility.
  • Participate in shared support for other ERP-adjacent applications and enterprise point solutions, including document automation, ERP tax platform, integration, and RPA automation platforms including Automation Anywhere, Microsoft Power Automate.
  • Perform platform configuration changes, upgrades, patching coordination, and maintenance activities in alignment with change management practices.

Operational Stability & Production Support

  • Ensure availability, performance, and reliability of supported applications through monitoring, alerting, incident response, and root-cause analysis.
  • Work closely with infrastructure, database, security, and vendor teams to troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
  • Execute incident, problem, and service request workflows as part of a shared team support model.
  • Contribute to on-call rotations as required.

RPA & Automation Support (Secondary Responsibility)

  • Support existing RPA and workflow automation solutions built on platforms such as Microsoft Power Automate and Automation Anywhere.
  • Assist with bot monitoring, troubleshooting, remediation, and minor enhancements.
  • Participate in identifying automation opportunities and supporting implementation efforts led by other team members or architects.
  • Help track automation performance and operational metrics when applicable.

AI-Enabled Workflow & Integration Support

  • Support AI-enabled processes that leverage workflow automation and integrations.
  • Work as part of the AI team to assist with operationalizing agent-driven or AI-assisted automation patterns.
  • Promote structured documentation and configuration standards to enable effective support and future automation.

Documentation, Standards & Collaboration

  • Create and maintain platform documentation, runbooks, configuration guides, and support procedures.
  • Follow established standards and best practices for application support, security, and change control.
  • Collaborate closely with peers to ensure knowledge sharing and cross-coverage across supported applications.
  • Participate in vendor coordination activities related to incidents, upgrades, and support cases.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Coding and scripting skills are a plus
  • 3-7+ years in enterprise application support/integration (lead or senior hands-on role)
  • Strong application configuration and enterprise production support experience
  • Solid technical foundation in Windows, Windows Server, Linux server, networking, and VDI environments
  • Experience partnering with AI teams to operationalize agentic/AI-enabled automations using workflow/RPA tools (especially Microsoft Power Automate and/or Automation Anywhere - build, run, monitor, improve)
  • Proficiency in Copilot Studio and/or Azure AI foundry a plus.
  • Experience with monitoring tools and escalation models
  • Managed File Transfer and ERP integration experience
  • Document management and automation platforms (Axway SecureTransport, Hyland OnBase, Tungsten Transact - formerly Ephesoft, Azure AI Document Intelligence.)
  • Understanding of application lifecycle management, integration patterns/methods, and database integration concepts
  • Proven ability to balance operational stability with innovation and automation
  • Strong documentation and governance mindset: standards, runbooks, best practices, change control
  • Ability to identify automation opportunities, deliver solutions, and track value/metrics (time saved, errors reduced, throughput)

The salary range listed herein refers to the amount the Company is willing to pay at the time of posting. The actual salary offer will be carefully considered based on a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, job location, and other relevant factors.
