Position Summary:

The MHT Supervisor supervises and manages the interventional level functions of the nursing unit necessary to provide patient Care. AS part of the nursing leadership team, MHT Supervisor ensures that direct care staff are supported and trained to provide excellent care. The MHT Supervisor is the champion of the patients and staff experience, provider for milieu in which patients and team members are treated with kindness, dignity and respect.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: High School Diploma; Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Experience: minimum three years' experience and knowledge of psychiatric patient care technicians and understanding of mental illness. At least one year of experience training and developing other staff members in psychiatric patient care techniques preferred.

Licensure: Must maintain a valid driver's license.

Additional Requirements: Successful completion of approved Basic Life Support and approved Crisis Prevention & Behavioral Management training. Certification may be obtained after hire.
