Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization: You will be responsible for leading the Demand Planning Reporting, Systems and Processes function in NAM, owning the strategy, architecture, and governance of reporting infrastructure, data systems, and planning processes that support decision-making across the region. You will set direction on reporting design, systems integrity, and process standardization while acting as the primary interface between demand planning, IT, commercial teams, and global counterparts. You will drive continuous improvement across demand planning tools and reports, ensure data reliability across core systems, and translate complex data into strategic insights for senior stakeholders. This role is pivotal in driving efficiency, data accuracy, and cross functional visibility by managing planning tools, streamlining processes, and enhancing reporting capabilities. The ideal candidate brings a strategic mindset, strong leadership, and technical expertise to improve decision making across the organization. Key Responsibilities: 1. Systems Management
- Own the strategy, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of demand planning systems.
- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for system related upgrades, enhancements, and integrations.
- Collaborate with IT and global counterparts to ensure system performance and alignment with business needs.
2. Reporting and Analytics
- Lead the development and automation of key demand planning reports, dashboards, and KPIs.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and timeliness across reporting platforms (e.g. Databricks and Power BI).
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Planning) to align reporting needs.
3. Process Excellence
- Design and implement standardized demand planning processes and best practices.
- Continuously evaluate and refine planning workflows to improve efficiency and responsiveness.
- Facilitate cross-functional process alignment to support planning cycles.
- Govern documentation, testing, and training standards across demand planning reports, processes, and system driven activities.
4. Data Modeling and Relational Data Management
- Design and manage data models that support demand planning analytics, forecasting, and reporting needs.
- Build and maintain logical data models leveraging relational database principles (e.g., star schemas, normalized data structures).
- Collaborate with data engineering and BI teams to optimize data pipelines and ensure alignment between operational systems and analytical environments.
- Ensure data governance, lineage, and documentation for planning related data sources and transformations.
5. Leadership and Stakeholder Engagement
- Lead and develop a team, setting clear direction, priorities, and performance expectations.
- Act as a key liaison between planning, IT, data teams, and business stakeholders.
- Influence leadership through data driven insights and clear communication.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- You have a solid understanding of relational databases and the ability to efficiently query large databases for data analysis, quality, cleaning & extraction using SQL.
- You have knowledge and work experience with SAP ERP, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC); understanding system interdependencies and data flows.
- You are a problem solver with continuous improvement mindset
- Familiarity with Databricks or equivalent cloud data platforms for large-scale data analysis.
- You are proficient using Power BI and DAX language for data visualization.
- You have strong project management abilities to manage multiples priorities and lead change in a dynamic environment
- You have participated in SAP ERP System enhancement or implementation.
- You interact confidently with developers and stakeholders alike and can present your work to technical and non-technical audiences.
- You have excellent professional communication skills (English, written and oral).
- You have a good logical/critical thinking skills with an aptitude for determining root cause.
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. Master's degree or MBA preferred.
- 6+ years of experience in demand planning, supply chain, or related functions.
- Proven experience owning or managing reporting and systems in a corporate environment.
- Hands-on experience with SAP ERP systems.
- Strong technical proficiency in Power BI and SQL; Python or other scripting languages is a plus.
- Experience working across finance and IT functions in a matrixed, multinational organization.
- Industry experience in retail, e-commerce, or consumer goods preferred.
