Description

Summary:

This position is responsible for all aspects of care pertaining to Hyperbaric medicine and recording of all technical and clinical information on patients

Responsibilities:


  • Associate performs technical patient care skills accurately and professionally in assigned area and scheduled shift/day
  • Associate demonstrates willingness to flex schedule to meet department clinical needs by actively volunteering to work alternate shifts to include inpatient wound care
  • Associate works efficiently and meets or exceeds department productivity targets while providing a high level of care
  • Seeks other internal work opportunities with downtime or clocks out
  • Associate responds in a positive manner to physicians and/or patient concerns
  • Associate identifies barriers to patient and physician satisfaction and assists with improving entire process
  • Involves Director as appropriate
  • Associate consistently seeks opportunities to assist co-workers, clinical and non-clinical
  • Education: Associate attends or uses self study models to increase knowledge base
  • Associate willingly contributes to the learning process of new employees and co-workers
  • Associate cleans completely after each patient and prepares room for next patient
  • Associate identifies environment of care concerns and seeks resolution
  • Associate assists with overall cleanliness of department
  • Cheerfully assists other staff in cleaning up work area
  • Associate makes suggestions on opportunities for improvement in staffing and department functions to include costs, patient satisfaction and outcomes
  • Adheres to wound treatment protocols to insure efficient use of supplies, assists patient with obtaining supplies through a variety of vendors, assists with supply inventory and prepares order requests in order to maintain par levels
  • Completes all applicable charge entries

Requirements:

Education/Skills


  • High School Diploma required

Experience


  • 1 - 3 years of experience preferred

Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications


  • BLS preferred
  • EMT B, EMT P, LVN/LPN, or RCP in the state of employment preferred

Work Schedule:

5 Days - 8 Hours
