Director of Public Safety Whitemarsh Township Position Summary Whitemarsh Township is seeking an experienced and collaborative public safety professional to serve as its next Director of Public Safety. This executive-level position oversees the coordination and cooperation of Township police, fire, and emergency services operations while serving as the Townships senior administrative official for public safety initiatives. The Director of Public Safety works directly with the Board of Supervisors to establish organizational goals, improve interagency coordination, and ensure the effective delivery of public safety services to the community. Work Environment & Physical Requirements This position requires work at various locations throughout and outside of Township facilities. The role may involve responding to emergency scenes and participating in physically demanding activities as necessary. Additional Requirements Must be available on-call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Compensation & Benefits Compensation is expected to be in the $150,000 - $180,000 range commensurate with qualifications and experience. Comprehensive benefits package included.
