About the Role

Logistics Specialist III will support PMA-207 C-40 Platform performing variety of sustainment initiatives. Specific efforts include Peculiar Support Equipment sustainment strategy, DMSMS, CFM 56 engine analytics, Property Governance Logistics analysis and reporting, Technical Directive (TD) analysis and reporting, and Depot requirements. The Logistics Analyst should have a significant amount of Commercial Derivative Aircraft (CDA) expertise and utilize that experience to support multiple Navy commercial contracts and sustainment efforts. The Logistics Specialist III is directly accountable to the C-40A Lead Logistics Integrator.

    Monitor and coordinate aircraft modifications/inspections development utilizing NAVAIR's ECM Tool to provide assistance to platform DAPMLs and process TDs from cradle to grave.
  • Assist C 40 team with preparing Engineering Change Packages, drafting technical directives, and managing aircraft configuration and Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS).
  • Manage commercial technical data. Assist with Technical Publication Deficiency Reports, changes to commercial technical publications.
  • Work with NATEC to ensure compliance of technical data. Assist Logistics Lead with the review, research and closure of Hazardous Material Reports, Product Quality Deficiency Reports, and Engineering Investigations via the JDRS tool.
  • Assist C-40 team with publication reviews and updates.
  • Assist C-40 DAPML in establishing, integrating and managing USMC sustainment processes and procedures in execution of the Contractor Logistic Support contract.
  • Assist C-40 team with periodic CDRL analysis and review of multiple commercial contracts.
  • Perform DECKPLATE analysis and review and provided auditor response documents to accurately report Uninstalled Aircraft Engine (UAE) reports that support the Navy's Command Property Office initiatives.
  • Tracking, developing C-40A Depot Work scope requirements through execution of contract.


Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • A Department of Defense secret security clearance is required.
  • The salary range for this role is $93,000-$103,000. (The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities, and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.)
  • Due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in a related field is preferred. Candidates with significant relevant experience demonstrating equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience: A minimum of 12 years of progressively responsible experience in logistics, aviation sustainment, acquisition, or a closely related field is required.

    • The ideal candidate possesses extensive knowledge of industry principles, concepts, practices, and procedures and is recognized as a subject matter expert within their area of specialization.

    • This individual applies seasoned judgment and technical expertise to independently plan, prioritize, and execute complex assignments with minimal oversight.

    • They are expected to analyze and resolve challenging problems, develop innovative solutions, and provide strategic recommendations that influence program outcomes.

    • The selected candidate may serve as a technical lead, mentor junior personnel, and provide consultation on highly complex projects and initiatives.

    • They must be capable of effectively collaborating with senior leadership, customers, and cross-functional stakeholders and may report directly to a Program Manager, Director, or Executive-level leader.
