GENERAL SUMMARY: Established to train and educate post-graduate students with a complete perspective of working within a leading healthcare system. Offers exposure to a wide-array of healthcare services and initiatives and has opportunities to work in a hands-on capacity on many key system initiatives. Experiences healthcare decision making from the system level as well as opportunities to participate in work done within each system entity. Participates in projects and work assignments across many areas. Attends Board and Senior Management meetings allowing for strong personal and leadership growth opportunities. To ensure the experience aligns with both organizational needs and individual goals, senior leadership actively shapes and personalizes the program around individual interests and development objectives. PRINCIPAL JOB FUNCTIONS: *Commits to the mission, vision, beliefs and consistently demonstrates our core values. *Participates in projects and work assignments across departments including, but not limited to, administration, operations, advancement/development, marketing, finance, information technology, business development, strategy, and human resources. *Attends Board and Senior Management meetings, allowing for strong personal and leadership growth opportunities; develops an understanding of Bryan Health organizational structures and interaction between departments and personnel. *Based on assigned project(s), establishes goals/priorities, extracts, analyzes and presents data/information; plans and coordinates meetings; follows through on action items; evaluates outcomes and assists in change management activities as appropriate. *Communicates project/initiative progress to leadership personnel in a variety of formats; problem solves project delays, lack of resources, communication issues, etc., and implements corrective/remedial solutions. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Master's degree in healthcare administration, public health, business administration with a healthcare focus, or a related field within the past year or current enrollment in a master's program with completion expected by the start of the fellowship from an accredited program (e.g., Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Management Education (CAHME), Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), or Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH)) required.
