MaineHealth's Clinical Documentation Improvement team is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), at least one year of COI CCDS experience preferred, and expertise in documentation auditing, in addition to a minimum of five years of registered nursing experience. This is a part-time, day-shift position with a Monday through Friday schedule. Summary: The CDI Specialist RN - Ambulatory Care role is responsible for facilitating complete, accurate and consistent documentation in the medical record supporting ICD diagnosis code selection for each patient's current health status including prospective, concurrent and retrospective reviews of ambulatory recordsRequired Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
