Registered Nurse (RN) PACU GYN PRN

Our Fairfax Hospital Women's PACU is seeking an experienced RN PACU for a PRN (as needed) position. Minimum hours required:48 hours per six week schedule-will include weekends and night shift.

Our unit is a 32-bay Preoperative and PACU department caring for patients before and after their General Gynecology, Gynecological Oncology, Urological Gynecology, and Robotic procedures. We care for 30 patients a day on average, 75% of which go home same day from the PACU. Our acuity ranges from benign procedures to extensive oncology cases.

RN PACU PRN Qualifications:

• One year of PACU or Critical Care (ICU/ED) RN experience or completion of a critical care or PACU fellowship
• Education: BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of hire
• American Heart Association BLS certification for Healthcare Provider.
• RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a RN.
• Proficient in English, strong verbal and written communication skills.
  

RN PACU PRN Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years' experience PACU
