We're seeking a dedicated Manager, Program Delivery to lead the charge on our Electric Vehicle program portfolio. This role offers a unique opportunity to shape and grow EV initiatives that empower our region to drive cleaner and smarter. As our EV Program Delivery Manager, you'll provide inspiring leadership and clear direction to a high-performing team responsible for delivery of SMUD's EV programs and portfolio goals. You'll champion the implementation of customer-focused electrification strategies, collaborate across departments to optimize grid investments needed for beneficial load growth, and build strong partnerships with stakeholders both inside and outside of the utility. Your leadership will be critical in driving EV adoption in our region, expanding EV charging access, advancing future technologies, and delivering programs that create real benefits for customers, our community, and the environment. To provide management, expertise, and guidance by overseeing all aspects of program delivery and services including energy efficiency, building and transportation electrification, load management and flexibility, green pricing, renewable energy, special assistance and other retail electricity resource programs ensuring excellent customer experiences, contract management practices, and high-quality electric services to SMUD customers. This manager oversees a cross functional team within a broad scope of responsibilities; develops, implements and manages department goals, objectives, policies, and priorities in partnership with the department Director; selects, trains, motivates, evaluates, and develops staff; and ensures, alongside management peers, that department strategic objectives and priorities are achieved.
